Consulting Focus

One of Sebastian Kühn's main areas of practice is labor law. He advises his clients, who are primarily national and international companies of all sizes as well as executives (board members, managing directors, etc.), on both individual and collective labor law. His range of activities includes, for example, drafting and negotiating employment and managing director contracts and their termination, negotiating with works councils and trade unions (e.g., on works agreements and in-house collective agreements), examining labor law issues in the context of corporate transactions, and providing support in corporate restructuring in the event of reorganization or insolvency. Sebastian Kühn also represents his clients in labor law disputes in courts throughout Germany.

Another focus is the ongoing advice and litigation representation of credit institutions, asset managers and financial intermediaries on all issues of credit law, banking law and banking supervisory law. In the wake of the financial crisis of 2008/2009, he began advising national and international companies facing insolvency issues on both the creditor and debtor sides.

Since spring 2025, Sebastian Kühn has also expanded his legal practice to include intellectual property law and assists his clients in protecting themselves against unfair competition and infringement of their intellectual property rights. He advises and represents clients in trademark, design, and competition matters, enforces property rights, defends against warning letters and provides support in both out-of-court and court proceedings.
